In-depth reporting and analysis on Wisconsin's court system - with occasional essays and writings on other topics.
Welcome to Wisconsin Jurisprudence—or A.J.'s Pavilion, a blog and newsletter written by me, Aaron Loudenslager. My goal is to provide in-depth reporting and analysis on Wisconsin's court system—with occasional essays and writings on other topics. In short, my objective is to do what too many news outlets fail to do now as a result of media consolidation; provide my readers with original reporting, analysis, and commentary—the type of which can sometimes take months to publish.
I’m a Wisconsin attorney specializing in appellate litigation, and a former candidate for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.
During law school, I published numerous opinion columns with the country’s largest independent university student newspaper. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School, I then served as a judicial law clerk and staff attorney throughout the Wisconsin court system. My writings have been published in a variety of publications, including the Wisconsin Lawyer magazine.
